Why is it that so many people misuse the apostrophe? I am not the grammar police, nor do I claim to be...I'm generally not very anal about many things, but this drives me absolutely bananas.
For instance:
I do not want to go to "Yard Sale's."
I do enjoy yard sales, though.
I hate tomatoe's, but, I LOVE tomatoes.
Any more examples?
